Job summary

Lafayette Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is a 59-bed Skilled Nursing Facility in Michigan seeking a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). The ideal candidate provides quality nursing care, coordinates with staff, and supports department operations to ensure resident well-being.

The CNA will participate in daily reports, assist with hygiene, mobility, and transport, and observe changes in resident conditions while collaborating with a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Michigan Certified Nurse Aide license or have completed a Michigan approved CNA training program and are eligible to test.
• Must be licensed within four months of hire.
• A can do/will do attitude to help others.

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily nursing report along with daily electronic documentation.
• Assist residents with daily personal hygiene activities, turning, lifting, positioning, and transporting residents.
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition and make independent decisions when warranted.

Position Summary:
The Certified Nursing Assistant provides quality nursing care to residents. They coordinate workwithin the department, as well as with other departments, report pertinent information to theimmediate supervisor, and assists immediate supervisor with tasks to support departmentoperations.

As a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) you are efficient and strive to provide the best possible care to our residents and families. Our CNA’s are responsible for providing individualized care that encourages the resident to maintain or attain the highest practical physical, mental, and psychological wellbeing.
