For a limited time MaineHealth is offering sign on bonuses for Clinical Nursing Assistants:

0-1 years of experience eligible for $2,500 (full time)

1+ years of experience eligible for $4,000 (full time)

Eligible candidates are hired into a Full or Part time CNA position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible. Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

Intensive Care Unit(ICU)

A small unit that works closely with the expertise of a Respiratory Therapist and Intensivist, caring for varying levels of critical care patients across multiple specialties.

• An 11 bed capacity ICU.
• Twenty-four hour multidisciplinary, collaborative health services for critically ill adult in-patients with acute medical and/or surgical issues.
  
  

Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant – Acute Care ICU role assists in the administration of nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Performs a variety of direct and indirect care duties.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs)

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
• License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Certified Nursing Assistant required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
• Experience: Relevant experience preferred.
