Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a Part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Baltimore Central Booking and Intake Center (BCBIC) in Baltimore, Maryland. CNAs work under nursing, medical and psychiatric staff to provide direct patient care to incarcerated individuals.

They assist with personal hygiene, daily living activities and vital sign monitoring. Maryland CNA licensure, CNA certification and CPR/BLS certification are required. Shift: days, part-time, with benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• CNA certification and Maryland licensure required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Experience or certification as nurse's aide, medical technician or mental health worker preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to incarcerated individuals under nursing, medical and psychiatric staff.
• Assist patients with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Monitor vital signs as part of routine care.

We are currently seeking a Part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Baltimore Central Booking and Intake Center (BCBIC) located in Baltimore, Maryland.

CNAs work under the close direction of nursing, medical and psychiatric staff to perform direct patient care to incarcerated individuals. Assist patients by supporting personal hygiene, daily living needs and vital sign monitoring.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• CNA or other medical paraprofessional certification required
• CNA licensure in Maryland required
• Training, experience or certification as a nurse's aide, medical technician or mental health worker preferred
• One year of experience in acute care, long-term care, emergency or correctional setting preferred
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
