We are a not-for-profit community service organization dedicated to providing services for older adults and persons with special needs by creating and administering excellent residential and health care facilities.

Job Summary:
Provides routine daily nursing care to residents as directed by the supervisor, maintaining dignity, respecting rights, and adhering to compliance regulations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, transferring, ambulating, toileting, and other needs.
2. Maintain hygiene standards by ensuring beds are made, trash is removed, and rooms are clean.
3. Assist with meal service and feeding if necessary, ensuring meals are served on time.
4. Take vital signs and report any changes to the nurse.
5. Follow infection prevention and control protocols.
6. Accurately document in CNA ECS flow-sheet.
7. Perform routine rounds to ensure safety precautions are in place and equipment is functional.
8. Prevent skin problems by providing timely incontinent care and repositioning residents as needed.

Education and Experience:

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant licensed in Florida.
• One year of long-term care or experience with handicapped or developmentally disabled adults.
• CPR certification required.
