Base pay will be determined by the applicant’s skills and experience. The role is also eligible for team-based bonus opportunities. Temporary associates are not benefits-eligible but may participate in the company’s 401(k) program.

Veterans, transitioning active duty military personnel, and military spouses are encouraged to apply. To support our associates in their journey to U.S. citizenship, Brookdale offers to advance fees for naturalization (Form N-400) application costs, up to $725, less applicable taxes and withholding, for qualified associates who have been with us for at least a year.

Responsibilities

  • Our Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) work with community management to provide personalized care to seniors and give resident status updates at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Assist residents with dining and personal care needs, perform vital sign checks, and clinical procedures according to community policy.
  • Provide assistance with activities of daily living (showers, bathroom assistance, dressing/grooming).
  • Successful completion of a State CNA/STNA course is required. Must maintain certification.
