Job summary

Mesquite Village Wellness & Rehabilitation is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team on the 10PM-6AM shift in Mesquite, Texas. You will provide compassionate, patient-centered care to a diverse population in a supportive clinical setting.

As a CNA, you will assist with daily living activities, monitor patients, and collaborate with nursing staff to ensure safety and quality care while upholding dignity and respect for every patient.

Qualifications

• Current Texas CNA certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including assistance with daily living activities, mobility, and hygiene.
• Take and record vital signs, as well as monitor patient condition and report any changes to nursing staff
• Assist with medication administration, as directed by licensed nursing staff
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, including the handling of linens, supplies, and equipment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Demonstrate a commitment to patient-centered care, dignity, and respect
