Job Duties

Provides direct patient care to adult and geriatric psychiatric patients that conforms to care and treatment policies and procedures and demonstrates knowledge of population specific needs and competencies.
~Shift Differential: Evening $2.50/Hour Weekday & $3.00 Weekend
Nights $2.25/Hour Weekday & $3.00/Hour Weekend
First Shift Weekend $3.00 Hour
Holiday Differential

Minimum Qualifications

Current Nursing Assistant License issued by the Virginia Board of Nursing

Ability to provide direct patient care under supervision of licensed staff; ability to follow instructions and report observations of bio-psychosocial needs and behaviors to licensed nurse in timely manner; skills in providing direction and assistance to patients in activities of daily living; has knowledge of developmental and psychiatric disorders. Demonstrate competencies as defined on Competency Assessment.

Additional Considerations

Experience as a nursing assistant preferred
Experience in a behavioral health setting highly desirable
