Riverside Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for all shifts. You will provide compassionate patient care, assist with daily activities, monitor vital signs, and support the care team.

The role requires NY CNA certification and availability to work alternating weekends and holidays. Shift differentials apply for weekends and specific night shifts. Join our team for a supportive work environment with opportunities for training and growth.

Qualifications

• Certified nursing assistant in good standing with NY Nursing Assistant Registry.
• Available to work every other weekend and alternating holidays.
• Strong ability to care for residents in a calm, respectful, and patient manner.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care and respond to patient calls.
• Assist with daily activities and personal hygiene (bathing, dressing, mobility).
• Turn and reposition bedridden patients and monitor condition.
• Record intake/output and document vital signs as directed.
• Review dietary needs and restrictions with care team.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses for care plans.
• Observe for wounds or other medical concerns and report changes.

Certified Nursing Assistant ALL SHIFTS AVAILABLE!

Job duties:

• Providing great patient care.
• Answering patient calls and determining how best to help them.
• Providing physical support for patients or residents with daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, getting out of bed, - using the toilet, walking, standing, or exercising.
• Turning and repositioning bedridden patients.
• Ensuring patients or residents receive appropriate diet by reviewing their dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences.
• Obtaining a wide range of information from physicians, caregivers, and nurses about patient conditions, treatment plans, and suggested activities.
• Measuring and recording food and liquid intake and urinary and fecal output and reporting changes to medical or nursing staff.
• Recording vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rate as requested by staff.
• Examining patients to detect issues requiring medical care, including open wounds, bruises, or blood in the urine.

Minimum qualifications:

• Certified as a nursing assistant and in good standing with the New York Nursing Assistant Registry
• Available to work every other weekend and alternating holidays
• Strong skills in effectively caring for residents in a calm, respectful, and patient manner

Shift differentials are available for weekends and 3p-11p and 11p-7a shifts!
