Apex Staffing Services LLC is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for ongoing assignments at skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities across downstate New York. As a CNA on assignment with Apex, you'll provide direct resident care at our partner SNFs, including assisting with ADLs, taking vital signs, and supporting the nursing team.

Qualifications

• Active NY State CNA certification in good standing (verifiable through NY State Department of Health Nurse Aide Registry)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain before start date)
• Immunizations up-to-date; able to complete pre-assignment health screening (TB, MMR, Varicella, Hep B, Tdap, annual flu, COVID-19 as required)
• Ability to pass criminal background check and drug screen
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Strong communication skills, patience, compassion, and respect for residents and their families
• Reliable transportation to assignment locations

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, transfers, feeding
• Take and record vital signs
• Reposition residents per facility protocols to prevent pressure injuries
• Report changes in resident condition to the charge nurse
• Document care accurately in the facility's medical record system
• Support the nursing team and rehabilitation staff with resident care plans
• Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment for residents

What you'll do

What we're looking for

Bilingual (Spanish, Russian, Mandarin, Yiddish, Haitian Creole, Bengali, or other languages commonly spoken)

Available for weekend and overnight shifts
