Job summary

Waterford Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Hialeah, FL is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to join our skilled nursing facility. We have multiple shifts: 3:00pm-11:30pm and 11:00pm-7:30am, full-time and part-time positions available.

The CNA will provide direct care, assist with hygiene, mobility, meals, and observe residents, reporting concerns to a nurse. We expect active Florida CNA license and dedication to resident safety and accurate shift documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have an active Florida CNA license.
• Provide direct care to residents including hygiene, bedpan use, bathing, and daily living activities.
• Document care and report to nurse before end of shift.
• Maintain safety rules at all times to prevent incidents.

Responsibilities

• Gives direct care to residents, such as assisting residents to the bathroom, bedpan use, shower or bathe residents, maintain residents hygiene, change bedding, etc.
• Turn, reposition and move patients between wheelchairs, seats and beds
• Serve meals and help patients eat
• Listen to patients regarding health concerns and report details to a nurse or supervisor
• Practices safety rules at all times to prevent incidents
• Documents completely before the end of the shift
