Job summary

Rose Garden Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Toms River, NJ is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our dedicated care team. You will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor health status, and help maintain comfort and safety in a long-term care setting.

This role requires CNA certification and CPR, with weekend shifts available at $36 per hour for up to three shifts, and a starting rate of $19.50 per hour for full-time CNAs.

Qualifications

FT CNAS RATE: Starting at $19.50

Job Summary

You will be an essential part of our dedicated team, providing high-quality care to our residents. Your role will involve assisting residents with daily living activities monitoring their health status, and ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Duties

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Monitor residents' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
• Follow all HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality
• Collaborate with the nursing team to create individualized care plans
• Assist with phlebotomy procedures as needed
• Work in various settings such as assisted living, outpatient clinics, pediatrics, medical offices, emergency medicine, and home community care

Experience

• Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
• Familiarity with caring for individuals in different healthcare settings
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
