Job summary

Eastview Healthcare & Senior Living is a small skilled nursing home in Sullivan, IL seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant for night shifts. You will provide daily living assistance with empathy and professionalism. Hours are 6 pm–6 am or 10 pm–6 am.

We seek a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team on night shift at our small skilled nursing home. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals. Hours available are 6 pm to 6 am and 10 pm to 6 am.

Duties

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding, promoting independence and dignity.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure, to ensure accurate medical documentation.
• Assist with medical documentation and ensure accurate records are maintained, adhering to infection control protocols.
• Support patients with mobility needs, including safe transfers to and from beds or wheelchairs, promoting safety and independence.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring a comfortable living space for patients.

Experience

• Familiarity with EMR systems is a plus, demonstrating proficiency in electronic record-keeping
• Experience in specialized areas such as memory care or dementia care is beneficial
