Overview

Addiction Recovery Medical Services is seeking a compassionate and experienced Certified Nurse Assistant or Medical Office Assistant to join our team of medical service providers devoted to treating Substance Use Disorder. As a CNA, you will work under the supervision of our Chief Medical Officer to ensure that our patients receive the highest quality care and support as they embark on their journey to sobriety. We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping others and dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those struggling with substance abuse.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the nursing staff with caring for patients during their detoxification process
  • Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature
  • Document patient progress and report any significant changes to the medical team
  • Assist with the intake process, including obtaining medical histories and assisting with diagnostic testing
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Nurse Assistant or MOA in the state of North Carolina
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and basic pharmacology
  • Ability to work as part of a team and follow direction
