Position Overview

The Nursing Assistant provides basic nursing care to a patient population under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Job Description

Education

• Equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree or diploma.
• HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience.
• Hospital Assistant or equivalent training (nursing student).

Certification & Licensure

• BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider.

Department Required Certification & Licensure

• CNA-Certified Nurse Assistant, preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant in an acute care hospital or nursing student.

Skills and Knowledge

• Excellent communication, organization, and relationship skills.
