Job summary

AHMC Healthcare Inc. is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide basic nursing care to patients under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse on the team or unit.

You will assist patients with activities of daily living, support a safe and comfortable environment, and promptly communicate relevant changes in condition to the RN/LVN to ensure optimal patient well‑being. Applicants must hold a CA CNA certification, BLS, and a high school diploma or equivalent (MAB).

Qualifications

• Recent CA CNA certification, BLS, and MAB required.
• Graduate from high school or its equivalent is required.
• Experience in acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with activities of daily living and helps promote a safe, comfortable environment.
• Notifies RN or LVN of relevant changes in patient condition (vital signs, pain, consciousness, breathing, drainage, bleeding, mood, or functional status).

Overview

As a member of the health care team responsible for providing basic nursing care to patients under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team or unit.

Responsibilities

Assists patients with activities of daily living and helps to promote a safe, comfortable environment that fosters the physiological and psychosocial well-being of the patient. Notifies R.N. and/or L.V.N. of relevant changes in the patient’s condition including, but not limited to changes in V.S., level of consciousness and/or pain, breathing pattern, drainage, amount of bleeding, mood, or increase and decrease in capabilities/limitations.

Qualifications

Recent experience in an acute care setting preferred. Graduate from high school or its equivalent. Current CA C.N.A certification, BLS and MAB.
