Shalom Parkside Senior Living in Richmond, VA is hiring compassionate CNAs for part-time, per diem daytime shifts. You will support residents with ADLs, encourage independence, and contribute to a warm, home-like environment.

Qualificações

• CNA certification in VA is required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Support independence while ensuring safety and comfort.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
• Provide reminders and assistance with meals, hydration, and routines.
• Engage residents in social activities and meaningful interactions.
• Maintain a clean, safe, welcoming living environment.
• Monitor changes and report to nurse or supervisor.
• Respond promptly to resident needs and call systems.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families and team members.

What You’ll Do

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Support residents in maintaining independence while ensuring safety and comfort
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed
• Provide reminders and assistance with meals, hydration, and daily routines
• Engage residents in social activities and meaningful interactions
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment
• Monitor and report any changes in residents’ condition to the nurse or supervisor
• Respond promptly to resident needs and call systems
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members

What We’re Looking For

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state
• Experience in assisted living or senior care preferred
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to assist with lifting, standing, bending, and walking for extended periods
