Experience & Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Certified by professional organization in state of hire.
• Hands-on training CPR by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Requires critical thinking, organizational skills, decisive judgment, communication, and good customer service skills.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks, work in a stressful environment, and take appropriate actions as needed.

A background check, security clearance, and drug screening are required for this role.

Responsibilities

Below is a list of your responsibilities as a Certified Nursing Assistant with YesCare at our Philadelphia Detention Center, 8201 State Road:

• Full-time evening; M-F Rotational weekends.
• Rate starting at $18.97 + shift differentials.
• Take and document patient’s vital signs, height, and weight.
• Assist with PPDs and EKGs.
• Measure and record intake and output.
• Assist with patient treatments such as dressing changes, decubitus ulcer, and tracheostomy care.
• Schedule patient appointments.
• Adhere to Corizon Health and the facility’s safety and security policies and participate in disaster drills. Follow security regulations for keys, sharps, and controlled medications.
