Job summary

CareOne at Marlton is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) on a per diem basis to support residents with daily living activities in a warm, compassionate environment.

You will perform basic patient care under supervision, assist with feeding, bathing, grooming and linen changes, and uphold the highest standards of safety and dignity for all residents. English proficiency and an active CNA certification are required.

Qualifications

• Active nursing aide certification in the state of operation.
• Prefer experience with patients of all ages in SNF settings.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be a supportive team member with patience and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

• Basic patient care under direction of nursing staff.
• Feed, bathe, dress, groom, or move patients; change linens.
• Assure patient safety and comfort while delivering care.
• Relate information concerning a resident's condition to the nursing staff.

The Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for, but not limited to:

3. Active nursing aide certification in the state of operation.

Position Requirements:

• Must be a certified or state tested Nursing Assistant in accordance with the laws of the state.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.
• Must be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of team work and team concept.
• Must have patience tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.
• Must be able to relate information concerning a resident's condition.
