Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide basic care and assist residents with daily living activities. The CNA will support personal hygiene, dressing, and social-recreational services, while working with the nursing team to ensure residents reach their highest well-being.

Preferred candidates have experience in long-term care or assisted living, current CNA certification, CPR/First Aid, and the ability to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Nursing Assistant per state regulations.
• CPR/First Aid certification maintained per state regulations.
• Experience in long-term care or assisted living preferred.
• Knowledge of Alzheimer’s Disease and dementias.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic resident care and assist with daily living activities such as hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
• Assist with housekeeping, laundry, meals, and social activities as assigned.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and families to support resident well‑being.

Primrose Retirement Communities is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to be responsible for providing basic care to residents and assisting them in daily living activities. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) must possess excellent people skills and the ability to be compassionate and enjoy helping others. The CNA provides care to residents which may include personal hygiene, dressing, housekeeping, laundry, social-recreational activities, meal services and other duties and services as assigned within the community. The CNA collaborates and assists in supporting the entire nursing department, other departments, medical professionals, consultants, residents and families in an efficient and economic manner to enable each resident to attain or maintain the highest practical physical, mental, and psycho-social well-being.

What we're looking for:

• Experience in long-term care or assisted living environment is preferred.
• Current certification as a Nursing Assistant or State Trained Nursing Assistant dependent upon state regulations
• Maintain CPR/First Aid certification per state regulations.
• Knowledge of Alzheimer’s Disease, other dementias and related memory impairments is preferred.
• Demonstrates ability to work as a team.
• Able to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.
