Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities in Ohio is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide basic resident care and assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal services.

The CNA will support the nursing team, collaborate with other departments and families, and must be CPR/First Aid certified, with weekend and holiday availability. Long-term care experience is preferred and compassionate, team-oriented individuals thrive here.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Nursing Assistant or State Trained Nursing Assistant depending upon state regulations.
• Maintain CPR/First Aid certification per state regulations.
• Knowledge of Alzheimer’s Disease, other dementias and related memory impairments is preferred.
• Experience in long-term care or assisted living environment is preferred.
• Demonstrates ability to work as a team.
• Able to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic care to residents and assist with daily living activities.
• Assist with personal hygiene, dressing, housekeeping, laundry, social-recreational activities, meal services and other duties as assigned.
• Collaborate and assist the nursing department and other departments, medical professionals, consultants, residents and families.
• Support residents to attain or maintain highest possible physical, mental, and psycho-social well-being.
• Engage residents in activities and promote a positive living environment.
• Contribute to a safe and clean community through teamwork and communication.

Primrose Retirement Communities is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to be responsible for providing basic care to residents and assisting them in daily living activities. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) must possess excellent people skills and the ability to be compassionate and enjoy helping others. The CNA provides care to residents which may include personal hygiene, dressing, housekeeping, laundry, social-recreational activities, meal services and other duties and services as assigned within the community. The CNA collaborates and assists in supporting the entire nursing department, other departments, medical professionals, consultants, residents and families in an efficient and economic manner to enable each resident to attain or maintain the highest practical physical, mental, and psycho-social well-being.

What we're looking for:
