Job summary

Avantara Lake Zurich in Lake Zurich, IL, is seeking a dedicated CNA to join our award-winning care team serving residents in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. As a frontline member of the Clinical Department, you will perform ADLs, observe changes in condition, ensure safety, and provide 1-on-1 orientations and trainings for new CNAs while supporting a compassionate, patient-centered culture.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered State of Illinois CNA certificate and CPR certification.
• One year of CNA experience preferred; willing to invest in the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Perform Activities of Daily Living for residents with attention to safety and comfort.
• Observe changes in condition and report to nursing staff promptly.
• Conduct 1-on-1 orientations and trainings for new CNAs.
• Provide compassionate, individualized care and support to residents.

As a CNA you are the front line of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect atAvantara Lake Zurichby conducting 1 on 1 orientations and trainings with new CNA's, motivating and providing guidance to new CNA’s, performing Activities of Daily Living, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an unencumbered State ofIllinoisC.N.A. certificate and C.P.R. Certification. One (1) year of C.N.A. experience is preferable, but we are willing to invest in the right candidate.
