Job summary

Avantara Lake Zurich is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our award-winning team in Lake Zurich, Illinois. You will provide essential daily care, assist residents with activities of daily living, and help maintain a safe, homelike environment where dignity and comfort come first.

The position requires an Illinois CNA certification and CPR; one year of CNA experience is preferred, but we invest in the right candidate.

Qualifications

• As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Illinois C.N.A. certificate and CPR Certification.
• One (1) year of C.N.A. experience is preferable, but we are willing to invest in the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 1-on-1 orientations and trainings with new CNAs.
• Motivate and mentor new CNAs.
• Perform Activities of Daily Living.
• Observe changes in resident condition and ensure safety.
• Maintain ongoing staff education.

As a CNA you are the front line of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Avantara Lake Zurich by conducting 1 on 1 orientations and trainings with new CNA's, motivating and providing guidance to new CNA’s, performing Activities of Daily Living, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.
