Job Details:

- Shift Time: 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
- Break/Meal: 30 minutes
- Shift Details: Monday to Friday availability
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40H/W
- Overtime Hours: If needed by the Facility
- Contract Duration: 7 weeks
- Bonus: Will be discussed with Agency Recruiter
Position Summary:
- Under the direction of the Center Nurse Executive/Infection Preventionist/Designee, the CNA delivers efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive outcomes and patient/family satisfaction.
- Performs patient care activities and related non-professional services essential to personal needs and comfort of patients.
- May be responsible for specimen collection for POC testing, where scope and regulations permit.
Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Provides patient care ensuring safety and comfort, including assisting with ADLs, recording vital signs, ambulation, positioning, and personal belongings.
- Assists physicians and licensed nurses with treatments and procedures.
- Makes beds, transports patients, and prepares patients for therapy.
- Participates in care planning, performs skin treatments, applies dressings, and assists with meals.
- Records intake/output, answers call lights, maintains infection control practices, and participates in orientation and quality activities.
- Maintains confidentiality and works beyond scheduled shifts if needed.
Educational/Vocational Requirements:
- Completion of a state-approved CNA program.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Verification of TST required.
- Basic computer knowledge or willingness to learn.
- Attend 12 hours of continuing education annually.
- Comply with legal, ethical, and policy standards.
Specimen Collector Responsibilities (if permitted):
- Collect nasal specimens following procedures, maintain specimen integrity, and complete documentation.
- Complete training and competency in specimen collection and testing.
- Utilize PPE appropriately during collection.
Qualification Considerations:
- Experience as Lab tech, enrolled in nursing school, or recommendations for CNA.
- Fit tested and able to wear N95/KN95 masks.
