Job summary

Taylor County Health & Rehab is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide patient-centered daily care and support residents with dignity. Your responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring changes in residents’ condition, and collaborating with nurses and the care team to maintain a safe, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required or eligible.
• Heart for service and caring for others.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Prior long-term care experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Support mobility, transfers, and positioning.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ condition.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Partner with nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver care.
• Foster a positive, respectful atmosphere for residents, families, and team members.

Shift differentials evenings, nights and weekends
