Job summary

Saint Luke’s is seeking a CNA to provide direct and indirect patient care under supervision of an RN or LPN. The role includes assisting with activities of daily living and ensuring patient safety through regular rounds.

Ideal candidates have a Missouri-registered CNA certification and at least 1 year of relevant experience, with a focus on compassionate, patient-centered care in a hospital or skilled-nursing setting.

Qualifications

• CNA in Missouri required
• 1 year applicable experience
• Cert Nurse Aide (MO) certification required

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the direction of an RN or LPN
• Perform direct and indirect patient care tasks

FT days, 3-12 hour shifts per week, 6:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m., including weekend and holiday rotations

• Providing patient care under the direction and supervision of an RN or LPN.
• Performing direct and indirect patient care tasks.
• Providing assistance with activities of daily living and care such as bathing, hygiene, elimination and toileting, nutrition, feeding, hydration, ambulation and positioning.
• Anticipating the patient’s family needs in a proactive fashion.
• Individualizing and modifying care according to the patient’s needs.
• Collaborating with other health care team members to enhance the provision of patient care.
• Supporting patient safety and satisfaction by performing regular patient rounds on the nursing unit and effectively communicating with all team members while providing excellent customer service.
