The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and the ability to work independently in a home care setting. Responsibilities include providing high-quality personal care, assisting with ADLs, monitoring client condition, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in good standing with the Virginia Board of Nursing is required.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of professional caregiving or clinical experience is required.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to demonstrate compassion, patience, and professionalism at all times.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality personal care services to clients per individualized care plans.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility support.
• Monitor and report changes in client condition to supervising nurse or care team.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive environment for clients.
• Follow state regulations, company policies, and infection control protocols.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
