Job summary

The Orchards Michigan in Harper Woods, MI is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our team. The CNA will assist residents with daily living activities, provide personal care, observe health changes, and ensure comfort and safety throughout shifts.

Responsibilities include documenting intake, assisting with feeding, transporting residents, and maintaining clean, organized living areas while adhering to policies and confidentiality. Requires active CNA certification and CPR/First Aid.

• Assist Residents with feeding and nutritional supplements
• Make beds and keep living areas clean and tidy
• Transport Residents within the facility
• Assist nurses and other staff as needed
• Adhere to professional standards and follow facility policies and procedures
• Abide by all federal, state and local requirements and standards
• Maintain confidentiality of Residents and Facility data

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist Residents with daily living activities, to include, delivering meals, turning and ambulating residents and providing plenty of fluids and nourishment meals throughout scheduled shift
• Help Residents with personal hygiene
• Observe Residents and report any health issues to the supervising nurse
• Document Resident food and fluid intake
• Assist Residents with feeding and serving nutritional supplements
• Making the Resident's beds and keeping their living areas clean and tidy
• Transport Residents within the facility
• Assist nurses and other staff as needed
• Adhere to professional standards and follow all facility policies and procedures
