Job summary

The Orchards Southgate in Southgate, MI is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our care team. You will assist residents with daily living activities, hygiene, meals and mobility, and observe health changes for timely reporting to the supervising nurse.

Document intake, support nurses, and maintain clean, safe living areas in accordance with facility policies and confidentiality requirements.

• Document Resident food and fluid intake
• Assist Residents with feeding and serving nutritional supplements
• Make the Residents beds and keep living areas clean and tidy
• Transport Residents within the facility
• Assist nurses and other staff as needed
• Adhere to professional standards and follow facility policies and procedures
• Abide by federal, state and local requirements and standards
• Maintain confidentiality of all Residents and Facility data

The Orchards Southgate, located in Southgate, MI is currently seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our team.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist Residents with daily living activities, to include, delivering meals, turning and ambulating residents and providing plenty of fluids and nourishment meals throughout scheduled shift

• Help Residents with personal hygiene

• Observe Residents and report any health issues to the supervising nurse

• Document Resident food and fluid intake

• Assist Residents with feeding and serving nutritional supplements

• Making the Resident's beds and keeping their living areas clean and tidy

• Transport Residents within the facility

• Assist nurses and other staff as needed

• Adhere to professional standards and follow all facility policies and procedures
