Job summary

Jaybird Senior Living seeks a caring Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our senior living community. The CNA provides personal care aligned with ISP under supervision of the Healthcare Coordinator.

Requirements include Active CNA certification, CPR or ability to obtain within 90 days, a high school diploma or GED, and at least 6 months of caregiving experience. Lifts up to 50 lbs and basic documentation tech are expected.

• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Minimum 6 months of caregiving experience, preferably with seniors.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility.
• Comfort using basic technology for documentation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb stairs, and assist with resident mobility.

Responsibilities

• Take and record vital signs and report changes to supervising nurse.
• Assist residents with daily living needs including hygiene, dressing, mobility, meals, and medication reminders.
• Support safe transfers, positioning, and ambulation.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents.
• Prepare and submit progress notes in a timely manner.
• Encourage resident engagement and participation in activities.
• Follow infection control, HIPAA, and community policies.
• Attend required in-service trainings and staff meetings.

Certified Nursing Assistant

We are seeking a caring and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our senior living community. The CNA should have previousmemory care and senior living experience. The pay range is $19.50 to $21.00 per hour. TheCNA provides personal care, support with daily living activities, and assistance to residents in alignment with their Individualized Service Plans (ISP). This role functions under the supervision of the Healthcare Coordinator.

What You'll Do

• Assist residents with daily living needs including hygiene, dressing, mobility, meals, and medication reminders.
• Support safe transfers, positioning, and ambulation.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents.

• Encourage resident engagement and participation in activities.
