Job summary

National Church Residences in Columbus, OH is hiring a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA/STNA) to provide direct resident support in our Permanent Supportive Housing community. Duties include ADLs, mobility, vital signs, meals, and maintaining dignity and privacy. 17 hours per week with alternating weekends.

Must hold a current CNA or STNA certification as applicable in Ohio. High school diploma or GED preferred; prior care experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Current CNA or STNA certification/license required based on state.
• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• Previous direct-care or resident-support experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, compassionate, and comfortable working independently.
• Ability to safely assist residents with mobility and physical care needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility).
• Assist with transfers, positioning, ambulation, and restorative care.
• Monitor and document vital signs and resident needs.
• Report changes in residents' physical or mental condition.
• Assist with meals, snacks, hydration, and feeding as needed.
• Maintain resident room cleanliness and organization.
• Assist with errands, shopping, prescription pickup, and other needs.
• Follow infection control, safety, HIPAA, and resident rights requirements.
