Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities in Wisconsin is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide basic resident care and assist with daily living activities. The CNA will support personal hygiene, dressing, meals, and daily routines while collaborating with the nursing team to promote residents' well-being.

Experience in long-term care is preferred; current CNA certification and CPR/First Aid are required per state regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in long-term care or assisted living preferred.
• Current certification as a Nursing Assistant or State Trained Nursing Assistant per state regulations.
• CPR/First Aid certification maintained per state regulations.
• Knowledge of Alzheimer's and related memory impairments preferred.
• Demonstrates ability to work as a team.
• Able to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic care to residents and assist with daily living activities.
• Assist with personal hygiene, dressing, housekeeping, laundry and meals.
• Collaborate with the nursing department and other staff to support resident well-being.
• Assist in social-recreational activities and communicate with families as needed.

Primrose Retirement Communities is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to be responsible for providing basic care to residents and assisting them in daily living activities. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) must possess excellent people skills and the ability to be compassionate and enjoy helping others. The CNA provides care to residents which may include personal hygiene, dressing, housekeeping, laundry, social-recreational activities, meal services and other duties and services as assigned within the community. The CNA collaborates and assists in supporting the entire nursing department, other departments, medical professionals, consultants, residents and families in an efficient and economic manner to enable each resident to attain or maintain the highest practical physical, mental, and psycho-social well-being.

What we're looking for:

• Experience in long-term care or assisted living environment is preferred.
• Current certification as a Nursing Assistant or State Trained Nursing Assistant dependent upon state regulations
• Maintain CPR/First Aid certification per state regulations.
• Knowledge of Alzheimer's Disease, other dementias and related memory impairments is preferred.
• Demonstrates ability to work as a team.
• Able to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.
