Job summary

HMR Veterans Services in Amarillo, TX is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to deliver high-quality care to our veterans and residents. You will provide routine nursing care, assist with activities of daily living, monitor residents’ well‑being, report changes to nursing leadership, and help maintain a safe, comfortable environment in accordance with care plans.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current CNA license/certification in accordance with state regulations.
• Compassionate, resident-centered approach to care.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to support residents and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care and services to assigned residents.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility).
• Support residents' physical, emotional, and social well-being.
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition to nursing leadership.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment following individualized care plans.

What You'll Do

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive the highest quality of care. Responsibilities include:

• Providing routine daily nursing care and services to assigned residents
• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Supporting residents' physical, emotional, and social well-being
• Observing and reporting changes in residents' condition to nursing leadership
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environmentFollowing individualized care plans and facility policies to deliver exceptional resident care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license/certification in accordance with state regulations
