Alexandria Health and Rehabilitation is seeking Certified Nurse Assistants to join our team in Alexandria, IN. CNAs will observe residents’ health changes, assist with activities of daily living, and document care under supervision.

Ideal candidates are CNAs or students in CNA programs, with patience, emotional health, and the ability to stand, bend, and lift as required by the role.

Qualifications

• Must be Certified Nursing Assistant or in a State recognized training program to become a CNA.
• Must display patience and tact when interacting with residents.
• Must have good emotional health and be able to stand, bend and lift.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report changes in residents’ health status to the Charge Nurse on an ongoing basis.
• Provide assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, skin care).
• Follow instructions and complete records under supervision.
• Document all care given and observations made while providing care.

Annual Pay Scale: $33,280-$48,880

About the Role: Alexandria Health and Rehabilitation is seeking Certified Nurse Assistants-

• To observe and report any changes in residents’ health status to the Charge Nurse on an ongoing basis.
• To provide assistance with activities of daily living (i.e., bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, skin care)
• That can follow instructions and complete records under supervision
• To document all care given and observations made while giving care
• That can follow Magnolia Health Systems guidelines in dealing with patient care
• About you: The ideal candidate would have the following skills and experience:
• Must be Certified Nursing Assistant; or
• In a State recognized and approved training program to become a Certified Nursing Assistant.
• Should have patience and tact in dealing with anyone at the facility
• Must display good emotional health and be capable of extended periods of standing, bending and heavy lifting.
