Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a full-time on-site role in Albuquerque, NM. Qualifications

Responsibilities

Role Description

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a full-time, on-site role located in Albuquerque, NM. The CNA provides direct, hands-on care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding. This role supports residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning, while monitoring and reporting changes in their condition to nursing staff. The CNA helps maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment, follows care plans and infection control procedures, and documents care accurately. The CNA also offers emotional support, promotes resident independence, and collaborates with nurses and other team members to deliver compassionate, person-centered care.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of New Mexico, and current CPR/First Aid certification.
• Demonstrated skills in personal care, safe resident transfers, mobility assistance, and basic vital signs monitoring.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with residents, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, adhere to care plans, and accurately document care in accordance with facility policies.
• Commitment to compassionate, resident-centered care, with sensitivity to diverse backgrounds, needs, and preferences.
• Reliability in maintaining consistent attendance and punctuality for full-time, on-site shifts in a skilled nursing environment.
• Capacity to work safely in a fast-paced setting, including proper use of equipment and compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar healthcare settings is preferred but not required.
