Job summary

Iredell Health System is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for our Cardiac Telemetry Unit. You will assist with unit and patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, gaining hands-on experience with cardiac patients in a supportive team environment.

Schedule is 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (Night Shift) with a night-shift differential. We offer a sign-on bonus for full-time staff and a comprehensive benefits package, including self scheduling to promote work-life balance.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through AHA or ARC.
• Listed with NC DHHS Division of Health Service Regulation in good standing.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.

• Assist with unit/patient care needs under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.
• Has full access to patient health information as related to job responsibilities.

Job Summary

Has full access to patient health information. May have access to medication storage areas (excluding controlled substances) as related to job responsibilities.

Schedule

• Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (Night Shift).
• Shift Differential: Additional pay provided for the entire night shift.
• Flexibility: Self Scheduling.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent required unless a current high school student participating in the CATS program for the NC
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required through American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• Listed with North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services Division of Health Service Regulation in good standing.
• Must possess full range of body motion to pass a basic FIT test to include bending, stooping, standing and sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
