Job summary

Reflections Retirement Community in Merrillville, IN is seeking a Part Time CNA for the 2nd shift at Belvedere Senior Housing. You will deliver individualized resident care per care plans, assist with Activities of Daily Living, and protect residents' dignity.

This role offers compassionate teamwork, ongoing learning opportunities, and strict confidentiality. Requires High School diploma or GED and CNA certification, plus excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• CNA certification is required from an accredited program.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Must demonstrate compassion, love, and dignity in care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized resident care per each resident’s care plan.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and dignity.
• Report health status changes to the clinical team.
• Engage with residents and families in a compassionate, positive manner.
• Participate in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other professional learning activities.
• Maintain confidentiality and privacy of resident information.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional and individualized care as determined by each resident’s care plan
• Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and maintaining dignity
• Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team
• Connect with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience
• Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities through attendance and participation in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences
• Comply with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information
• Perform any other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED equivalent required
• Current certification from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Must demonstrate the ability to serve withlove,compassion, anddignity
