Job summary

The Staff Pad is partnering with a nonprofit hospice provider in the DFW area to hire a compassionate Hospice Home Health Aide (HHA) / Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) for in-home patient care in Fort Worth, TX. This full-time role reports to the HHA Supervisor and works under an RN to support end-of-life care with dignity.

You will assist with activities of daily living, observe and document patient changes, and collaborate with the care team to ensure comfort, safety, and compassionate,

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an approved HHA/CNA training program/competency evaluation.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an HHA/CNA in hospice, home health, long-term care, hospital, or nursing home preferred.
• Valid Texas driver's license, reliable transportation, and current autoinsurance.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English & manage time effectively.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., assist with patient mobility, and work in home environments.
• Mustpass background check, competency evaluation, TB test, and meet healthscreening requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assist with safe transfers, mobility, and ambulation following agency policies and procedures

Reporting to the HHA Supervisor, you'll work underthe supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide hands-on personal care,promote patient comfort and dignity, and support families during every stage ofthe hospice journey.
