Job summary

Gentiva is seeking a compassionate Hospice Aide/CNA to provide hands-on personal care and emotional support to patients in private homes, assisted living facilities, or inpatient units. Requirements include active CNA license in the state, CPR certification, a valid driver’s license, and at least six months of direct patient care experience.

You should be comfortable working independently in home-based hospice settings while following safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

• Provide direct personal care to terminally ill patients

About You

Preferred Background (Not Required)

• Experience in home health, hospice, palliative care, or oncology
• Prior roles in hospital nursing, ICU, geriatrics, med-surg, ER, telemetry, or nursing homes
• Exposure to end-of-life care, wound care, or admissions support
