Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant to join the team at New Castle Correctional Facility in New Castle, Indiana. The CNA will work under nursing, medical and psychiatric staff to provide direct patient care to incarcerated individuals, focusing on personal hygiene, daily living needs, and vital sign monitoring.

Night shift, three 12-hour shifts per week with every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Indiana CNA license
• Current CPR
• One year experience in acute care, long term care, emergency or correctional setting preferred
• Corrections experience not required
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care to incarcerated individuals under supervision
• Assist patients with personal hygiene and daily living needs
• Monitor vital signs
