Job description

Kings Harbor Multicare Center is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our growing team.

Position: CNA (1199 Union Position)

Sign-on Bonus: $1,000!

Responsibilities include:

1. Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (bathing, feeding, toileting, dressing, etc.)
2. Assist residents with dental care, nail care, hair care, etc.
3. Ensure residents are kept dry to prevent skin breakdown. Turn and reposition bedbound residents every 2 hours.
4. Obtain residents' current weight when instructed.
5. Serve food trays and document food/fluid intake and output in medical records.
6. Inventory and label all residents' possessions.
7. Make beds and keep rooms tidy.
8. Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
9. Ensure resident privacy at all times.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Must possess a valid C.N.A. certification in the state of NY
• Excellent customer service skills

Salary Range:

Union scale starting rate
