We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nurses Aide to join a patient-centered care team. In this role, you will provide essential support to residents or patients by assisting with daily living activities, monitoring comfort and safety, and contributing to a respectful, positive care environment. Responsibilities
- Assist patients or residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
- Provide support with feeding, positioning, and transferring while following safety guidelines.
- Measure and record vital signs, intake and output, and other observations as directed.
- Report changes in condition, concerns, or observations to nursing staff promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for patients or residents.
- Respond to call lights and requests in a timely, respectful manner.
- Assist with ambulation, range-of-motion activities, and comfort measures as directed.
- Support infection control, privacy, and patient dignity at all times.
- Document care provided accurately and in accordance with facility procedures.
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Nursing Assistant or equivalent credential, as required by state regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a healthcare, long-term care, hospital, or similar setting preferred.
- Ability to follow care plans, procedures, and instructions from licensed nursing staff.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain professionalism, compassion, and respect in all interactions.
- Basic knowledge of patient safety, hygiene, and infection prevention practices.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and assist with patient care tasks as needed.
