Altea Healthcare in Michigan is seeking a Certified Nurse Practitioner to join our post-acute and skilled nursing team on a part-time basis. As a key clinical provider, you will diagnose, treat, and guide patients, with a focus on geriatrics and primary care, while embracing a patient-first approach.

Weekend availability is anticipated, with mentorship and ongoing training offered. Competitive daily pay between $440 and $540, plus uncapped bonuses and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Certified NP with license to practice in Michigan or eligibility to obtain.
• Strong communication and teamwork to coordinate patient care.
• Interest in geriatrics, internal medicine, or primary care and teaching-supportive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical exams and review medical histories.
• Order and interpret diagnostics (labs, imaging).
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and facility staff.
• Educate patients and families on conditions and prevention.
• Document care accurately and efficiently.

What You’ll Do:

As a Certified NP, you will be a key clinical provider in a skilled nursing facility, diagnosing, treating, and guiding patients to better health. No two days are the same!

Your daily responsibilities include:

• Performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.).
• Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions.
• Prescribing medications and creating treatment plans.
• Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and facility staff.
• Educating patients and families on health conditions and preventive care.
• Documenting patient care accurately and efficiently.
