Job summary

Altea Healthcare is seeking a Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) for post-acute and skilled nursing care in Temple, Texas. This full-time role offers a base salary of $100,000 to $135,000 per year plus uncapped bonus potential and a comprehensive benefits package.

As a key clinical provider, you will perform exams, order tests, diagnose and manage conditions, prescribe treatment, and collaborate with physicians and staff.

Qualifications

• Certified NP with current Texas license.
• DEA registration or eligibility to obtain before start date.
• Training and mentorship available for new grads.
• Experience in geriatrics, internal medicine, or primary care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.).
• Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions.
• Prescribing medications and creating treatment plans.
• Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and facility staff.
• Educating patients and families on health conditions and preventive care.
• Documenting patient care accurately and efficiently.

What You’ll Do:
