Job summary

Altea Healthcare seeks a Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our post-acute care team in Merced, CA. You’ll diagnose, treat, and guide patients toward better health in a skilled nursing facility environment.

This full-time position offers competitive pay ($130K-$165K base with uncapped bonus potential), comprehensive benefits, flexible scheduling, and ongoing training to support both new grads and experienced providers.

Qualifications

• NP license required (or eligibility to obtain) in California.
• All experience levels welcome; training and mentorship provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical exams and review medical histories.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.).
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Prescribe medications and create treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and facility staff.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and preventive care.
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently.

What You’ll Do:

As a Certified NP, you will be a key clinical provider in a skilled nursing facility, diagnosing, treating, and guiding patients to better health. No two days are the same!

Your daily responsibilities include:
