Job summary

Moore OBGYN in Largo, MD is seeking a full-scope Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) or Women’s Health NP (WHNP) with solid gynecologic experience including antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum care. The role emphasizes comprehensive women's health and a collaborative team approach.

You will manage patient visits, develop care plans, and provide information and reassurance to patients facing high-risk pregnancies or obstetric concerns, with emphasis on excellent documentation and follow-up.

Qualifications

• Active license as a Registered nurse or Certified Nurse Midwife, or Nurse Practitioner.
• Certification by the American Midwifery Board.
• Active DEA Number.

Responsibilities

• Examining and monitoring pregnant women.
• Assessing care requirements and writing care plans for patients.
• Providing information, emotional support, and reassurance to patients as needed.
• Identifying high-risk pregnancies.
• Ensuring all patient records are up to date.
• Helping parents cope with miscarriage, termination, stillbirth, and neonatal death.
• Insure proper follow up care for abnormal laboratory test and/or other significant medical problems.
• Complete visits/encounters appropriately with CPT and ICD-10 coding.

This includes patients with a wide variety of medical conditions (diabetes, hypertension, etc.) We are also looking for someone that possess the passion for providing comprehensive women's healthcare as well as a strong team spirit.
