Job summary
Sarasota Memorial First Physicians Group is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to join Venice OBGYN, a comprehensive practice with three physicians and a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner in a clinic space attached to Sarasota Memorial – Venice Hospital. The facility at Venice Hospital opened in 2021, with a Level III NICU at SMH-Sarasota and a multi-site health system serving 1.7 million patients annually.

Qualifications
- Master's degree in nursing required.
- APRN board certification required.
Responsibilities
- Provide Obstetric and Gynecologic services in outpatient and hospital settings.
- Monday–Friday outpatient hours.
- Rounding on admitted patients on LDRP and seeing patients in the practice with physician coverage.
- On-call responsibilities 2 nights/week and 1 weekend/month.
- Clinic visits include OB visits, postpartum visits, GYN annual visits, and same-day.
- Order laboratory and diagnostic testing and interpret results.
- Prescribe, administer, and dispense medications and other treatments.
- Coordinate treatment and referrals to other health providers.
- Manage patient call backs and communicate results.
