Job summary

Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) is seeking Certified Nurse-Midwives to provide high-quality, compassionate, and personalized care for our ethnically diverse birthing patients and newborns on a per diem basis. This role supports antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and GYN care in Clinic, Labor & Delivery, and Birth Center settings across Cambridge, Somerville, Everett and Revere.

Qualified candidates hold a Master’s degree, RN license, and AMCB certification, with birth center experience

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in CNM, RN license and AMCB certification required.
• Birth center experience preferred; ideally 2+ years full-scope midwifery care.
• BLS CPR certification and NPR status required; bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope midwifery care (antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and GYN).
• Deliver care in Clinic, Labor & Delivery and Birth Center.
• Work per diem shifts across 8- and 12-hour blocks as scheduled.

Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) is seeking per diem Certified Nurse-Midwives to proudly provide high-quality, compassionate, and personalized care for our ethnically and culturally diverse birthing patients and newborns.

Highlights

• Provide full-scope midwifery care (antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and GYN) in Clinic, Labor & Delivery and/or Birth Center

• Per Diem: clinic days: 8 hour shift, L&D/Birth Center: 12 hour shifts

• Locations: Cambridge, Somerville, Everett and Revere

• MNA Cambridge Union position: ability to work 3 shifts per month

• Competitive hourly rate ranging from $64-$116 based on years of experience

Qualified candidates will have a master’s degree, are registered nurse licensed, obtained certification by the American Midwifery Certification Board, and ideally have two years of experience providing full scope midwifery care as a certified nurse-midwife. Birth center experience preferred as well as experience with newborns. Current Basic Life Support “C” certification and NPR status is required. Bilingual skills are preferred but not required.
