This role involves assessing and diagnosing illnesses, ordering diagnostic tests, and providing health counseling. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s or graduate degree in nursing, be board-certified in Certified Nurse Midwifery, and possess a valid nursing license.

Experience in midwifery care is preferred, and this position offers a wage range of $70.00 to $90.00 per hour.

The Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) provides nursing midwifery care to ante‑partum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients, including women and newborns.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nurse midwifery care during ante‑partum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic illnesses in women of all ages.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures, prescribe medication, and perform specialized treatments.
• Offer health promotion and disease prevention counseling.
• Provide guidance and leadership to students and colleagues.
• Manage programmatic aspects of midwifery care.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or graduate degree in nursing.
• Board‑certified in Certified Nurse Midwifery.
• Valid active license to practice nursing and midwifery in the state.
• Experience providing midwifery care is preferred.
