Job Opportunity: Full-Time Midwife at University of Pittsburgh Physicians

University of Pittsburgh Physicians is hiring a Full-Time Midwife to support their Magee-Womens Specialty Services Horizon offices in Farrell, Grove City, and Hermitage. This position will be primarily located in Farrell with regular travel to the other offices.

Hours:

Monday-Friday, daylight hours. Rotating weekends and holidays. On-call required.

Locations:

This position supports 3-4 offices based on preference and staff needs, including Farrell, Grove City, Hermitage, and New Castle. It will also involve work at UPMC Horizon to support hospital needs.

Position Specifics:

Obstetrics and Gynecology - Preferred Midwifery experience, women’s health nursing/labor suite experience preferred.

Part of Magee Women's Specialty at Horizon, comprising 5 offices. Our team collaborates to provide care across Northwestern PA. All midwives deliver at UPMC Horizon Farrell and are eligible for career ladder advancement.

The Staff CNM (Certified Nurse Midwife) is responsible for setting standards of care, providing patient care with supervision and collaboration with physicians, and demonstrating leadership and professional growth. The role involves establishing relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers to achieve optimal outcomes.
