Job summary

WVU Medicine seeks a Certified Nurse Midwife for a Faculty role in Buckhannon, WV. You will collaborate with OBGYN specialists and maternal-fetal medicine teams to deliver comprehensive midwifery care in an academic setting.

The position includes OB and off-service resident teaching, clinical and lecture-based instruction for residents, students, and APNs, with opportunities for advancement within the department.

Qualifications

• CNM certification required; instructor ranks available.
• Faculty midwives engage in resident teaching and preceptorship, both in clinical settings and lectures.

Responsibilities

• Collaboratively practice with faculty OBGYN Specialists, Uro-Gyn Specialists, and MFM Specialists to provide complete care for midwifery patients.
• OB and Off-Service (Family Medicine, ER, and Anesthesia) resident teaching in both clinical setting and lecture format.
• Medical and nursing student teaching, as well as Advanced Practice Nurse preceptorship.
